“As fire is the direct cause of cooking, so knowledge and not any other form of discipline is the direct cause of liberation, for liberation cannot be attained without knowledge.”

- Shankara, Atma Bodha

“Sensual gratification without a spiritual union is and remains bestial; afterwards, one has no trace of noble feeling, but rather remorse.”

- Beethoven

Q: Who am “I”?

“The nearest you can say in words is:  I am what makes perception possible, the life beyond the experiencer and experience.”

— Nisargadatta Maharaj

“The spine is the highway to the Infinite. Your own body is the temple of God. It is within your own self that God must be realized.”

Paramahansa Yogananda

“She who is coiled; serpent power. The primordial cosmic energy in every individual which eventually, through the practice of yoga, rises up the sushumna nadi. As it rises, the kunalinî awakens each successive chakra. Nirvikalpa samadhi, enlightenment, comes as it pierces through the door of Brahman at the core of the sahasrara and enters!”  - Hinduism Today

“The Kundalini is your own mother. Your individual mother. And She has tape-recorded all your past and your aspirations, everything. And She rises because She wants to give you your second birth, but She is your individual mother. You don’t share Her with anybody else. Yours is a different, somebody else’s is different because the tape-recording is different. We say She is the reflection of the Adi Shakti who is called as Holy Ghost in the Bible. But She rises without any difficulty. Hardly any time it takes.” — Shri Mataji

Alchemical Symbolism:

The Warrior fights the great dragon (sexual desire) to save the princess (the Sacred Seed) and bring her back to the King (God) in the Kingdom (of Heaven within the brain)

So in other words the orgasm robs the body of the sacred energy needed to attain enlightenment. This is why in EVERY great spiritual tradition the first thing monks and disciples are told is NOT to have sexual orgasms. Instead they are taught to channel that energy to the brain where it can be used for greater illumination and communication with the divine.

“The alchemical process of kindling and elevating it is accomplished in the spinal cord where the SALT, SULPHUR, MERCURY and AZOTH are found. It is raised to incandescence by high and noble thought, by meditation upon spiritual subjects, and by altruism expressed in the daily life. The second half of the creative energy thus drawn upward through the spinal canal is a SPINAL SPIRIT-FIRE, the serpent of wisdom. Gradually it is raised higher and higher and when it reaches the pituitary body and the pineal gland in the brain, it sets them to vibrating, opening up the spiritual worlds and enabling man to commune with the gods. Then this fire radiates in all directions and permeates the whole body and its auric atmosphere, and man has become a LIVING STONE, whose luster surpasses that of the diamond or the ruby. HE IS THEN THE PHILOSOPHER’S STONE.”

- Max Heindel

“The mind is a tool of the spirit.”

Dolores Cannon ~ The Convoluted Universe.

“Speak well of others, not of their faults.”

— The Buddha

…The will of the Eternal Power is revealed to us through the laws governing the formation, generation, growth, unfoldment and improvement of created things. Through reflection, we may experience the realities of these laws, and discover them to be both wise and kind. We venerate eternal principles through obedience and through a cheerful acceptance of the lessons of daily living. The end of all learning, the fruits of all labors and endeavors, and the consummation of the deepest and most devout instincts and intuitions of our souls are that we shall come to honor and obey the rules of the vast plan of which we are the conscious and separate parts. All arts, sciences, philosophies, religions, crafts and trades can enrich our inward lives to the degree that we realize that through them the sovereign laws of existence are variously revealed and manifested for our advancement and enlightenment… “

- Manly Palmer Hall
